Master Adrian Garcia Torres
  • Born in1973, he started is martial arts training at the age of 6 under the instruction of his father, Master Francisco Garcia Avila in the art of Karate in which he achieved the grade of black belt in 1989.

  • Holds a degree in Business Administration.

  • Vice president of the Mexican Hapkido Association.

  • 6th Dan black belt in Hapkido.

  • Instructor of martial arts techniques for 17 years for the Nuevo Leon State Police.

  • Instructor and Evaluator of national security systems in the areas of self defence, police baton techniques, arrest and control techniques.Instructor in arrest and control techniques for security guards and bodyguards for such companies as: Coca Cola, Cuautehmoc Brewery, IMSA, Alestra Group, Axa Yazaki, HEB, AIEn Industries, Villacero, Escort Security Services, R&R Global Private Security amongst others.

  • Coach and trainer of Mexican SWAT group for competition and demonstration.

  • Wrote the instructional book for the training of martial arts for the state police academy of Nuevo Leon and regional police forces as well as instructional videos of arrest and conduction techniques for security guards and police forces as well as participating in television interviews and international martial arts magazines such as Taekwondo Times.

  • In 2003 he was invited to give a seminar to the Texas State Police and the department of public security.

  • In April and May of 2005 he was in Seoul, south Korea visiting Master Park Ho Soo and the associations of Ki Do Hae, Teuk Kung Moo sul and Kyung ho Moo sul, martial arts for bodyguards.

  • Certified in Kumdo (Korean Sword Arts) by Moo Gong Kwan Hapkido and Kumdo Federation.

  • A-3 Level referee certified by the International Hapkido federation (IHF).

  • Participant and Master of the Mexican team at the 2010 8th triennial IHF World Hapkido Championships, 2011 IHF Canadian Open Hapkido Championships, 2012 US Open Hapkido Championships, 2013 9th triennial IHF World Hapkido Championships and the 2013 Moo Moo Kwan 1st Korea Open World Hapkido Championships. His team received in group competition 2nd, 1st, 1st, 2nd and 1st respectively and he himself has won medals in the self defence and form competitions.
